IAN PLANT
When photographing wildlife, I'm searching for something basic and primitive, to capture that heart-pounding feeling you get when you come upon an animal in the wild. I'm inspired by abstract animal forms painted on prehistoric cave walls, rendered as nothing more than impressions of sinew, fang, and horn. I want to create images that evoke wildness, that tell a story and reveal the essence of an animal.
