Workshops
My photography workshops are designed for the digital nature photographer, beginning or advanced, interested in finding and expanding their creative vision. In addition to being a widely published professional nature photographer, I am an experienced instructor, both in the classroom and out in the field. I conduct a variety of workshops for both groups and individuals, as well as online courses.
Group Workshops: I conduct a number of field workshops every year through Mountain Trail Photo and Creative Vision Workshops. Each workshop travels to a stunning location. I work very hard to make sure each student gets an opportunity to learn, explore their personal vision, and get great images.
Online Courses: I also teach online courses for Nature Photographers Online Magazine on a roughly bi-monthly schedule. My course, Making Wow! Images: Six Steps to Taking Great Nature Photos, teaches advanced pre-capture techniques for making great nature photos.
Private Workshops: I am available for private workshops, limited to up to five people, which allow you (and maybe a few friends) personal instruction free from the constraints of a group workshop.
